We're going to take a break from the standard "Sold Horses" page and give you a peak at the trail riding opportunities in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and beyond.

This is Bombay de LB AKA Rambo (sometimes Butthead) who is a prime paso fino trail horse.  Never looses a beat and can be ridden anywhere by anybody but he behaves best with me (thank goodness!).

Rambo is a 14.2 hand buckskin dun paso.  

April 9th:  14 mile ride for the cure at St. Jude's. Not a bad looking cowboy but check out the fur on that big ol' mule!

It is with deep regret that I report the above mule was killed when he escaped his pen and wandered on to US62. His rider/owner misses him a lot and the neighborhood will miss seeing him on the local rides.

IT'S HUNTING SEASON IN OK! Bummer!! That means Rambo and I are restricted to road rides.  I ride at least once a week and here is one of those boring road ride shots.  I really do like to see new things on a regular basis. Things will improve come March which seems a long way away!

Riding at Pea Ridge Military Park. Pea Ridge has a 9 mile loop and a 12 mile loop as well as terrific accommodations for horses. Trails are open all year and well marked. I highly recommend it as a riding option.

Riding at Heyburn Lake in Northwest Oklahoma.  Great trails and superb camping facilities.  Really fun weekend!
