Everyone has heard or read about Jose' Jose'.  A stallion sold at auction for an unprecedented price.  He has since proven his worth in the breeding shed in spite of a down economy. My Josie, Josie is Jose' Jose' crossed on a Pusher mare.  She can walk the walk but I love her because of her temperament.  She is the sweetest mare. I think it was her up bringing.  She obviously bonded with people early on.  It makes a big difference in a horse's personality. Josie is very pretty, has great conformation and can walk out nicely when ridden. Her second foal from Silverado is due on February 29th.  Her 1st foal was a stunning black and white colt.  One of the few tobianos that can claim Jose' Jose' as their grandsire. I believe this little filly will be the same color as her sire without the white, of course!  A seal brown buckskin...does it get any better than that? Very friendly filly as well.  Just like her mom.

The foal is not for sale however I would consider selling the mare. Josie is broke to ride; has a solid running walk and good head nod.  Would make an excellent flat shod prospect. Priced at $3500.

Apache's Butterfly (carries one copy of the silver dapple gene by Pusher's Apache Man out of Delight's Jumpstart) This mare has been called a"walking machine." Super trail horse.The color possibilities for her foal (due in early March) are: 5.47% of just about any color combo you can name and drops to 3.13% when you get to red based horses.  This mare is better than Vegas when it comes to color choices! Well we did not get a red horse but we did get a black and white filly.  Nice looking filly as well.  She's giving mom a run for her money now that she's found her legs.

Sweetie and her foal are for sale as a package.  Sweetie is a terrific trail horse who is being wasted as a broodmare. Her filly would be an added bonus.  She's already showing gait in the field. Filly sold with paperwork to register her SSHBEA and TWHBEA.  Priced at $2950 Price for mare is reduced to $2400 FOAL IS SOLD.

Spirit of Ivory Mist is also in foal to Silverado. This palomino mare is extremely affectionate.  She loves carrots and hugs and any attention you can give her.  She has suffered some abuse along the way and I'm not sure if she'll ever leave this ranch.  This gentle lady deserves better than what she has gotten out of life to this point and I'm going to see that she gets it.

 Buttercup's top lines end in John A Chance, Cream Chance and Mack K; the bottom side is double POM, Merry Boy and Ebony Masterpiece.  The color possibilities of this breeding are also off the charts.  The top choices being palomino, palomino tovero, palomino tobiano or just plain palomino! The chances of a black based foal or a double dilute drop to the 3% range.  This one should be interesting! Well it did turn out to be interesting.  The odds of this little girl being this color were truly 3%.  Crystal blue eyes show she is a cremello. Color results are back; she tested homozygous red (as expected) with a single copy of the agouti gene.
